IRAN
The Medes : Today, a new page has turned in the history of Iran. Reports indicate that Ali Khamenei, the dictator and absolute ruler of the Islamic Republic, has been killed in targeted attacks. With his death, one of the darkest eras of tyranny in Iran has finally come to an end. The man whose name became synonymous with repression, executions, and state-sponsored terrorism has met his end before he could stand trial in the court of popular justice.
A Bloody Legacy: From Kurdistan to Europe
Khamenei was not only responsible for brutal domestic crackdowns but was also the chief architect of cross-border assassinations. The crimes committed against Kurdish leaders are only part of his dark record:
The Brutal Assassination of Dr. Ghassemlou – Kurdish Legend
Visionary KDPI leader Dr. Ghassemlou, champion of peace and dialogue, was treacherously assassinated in 1989 Vienna talks by Khamenei's direct command, the regime's ultimate disgrace.
The Mykonos Massacre: The assassination of Dr. Sadegh Sharafkandi , one of the Kurdish leaders and Secretary-General of the Democratic Party after the assassination of Dr. Ghassemlou , in Berlin, which, according to the German court verdict, was carried out on the direct orders of Ali Khamenei and with the approval of the Special Operations Council.
The End of an International Terrorist
The regime he led has for decades been recognized around the world as a symbol of terrorism. From the mass executions of the 1980s and the slaughter of protesters in the streets of Iran to the targeted killings of political elites in the heart of Europe , all took place under the shadow of his dictatorship. Today, with the elimination of this “serial killer in the guise of a leader,” many freedom-seekers and victims’ families see this event as the beginning of the end for the entire terrorist structure of the Islamic Republic.
A Middle East Without the Shadow of Tyranny
Khamenei’s removal is not merely an internal Iranian matter. The man who spent billions to plunge the region into blood and ashes can no longer issue kill orders. History will remember how a dictator who claimed religious sanctity was responsible for the suffering of millions, and ultimately perished in the very fire of the war he himself had kindled.
